Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Who is this adjustable trailer hitch for?
A: It is for owners of compatible 2-inch receiver setups who need multiple ball sizes and an adjustable mount. Confirm receiver fit, trailer-height requirements and component ratings before purchase.
Q: How do I choose the correct towing ball?
A: Match the ball diameter exactly to the trailer coupler's marked requirements, then verify that the chosen ball and all other towing components are rated for your intended load.
Q: Is this a suitable gift for a truck or trailer owner?
A: It can be a practical gift only when you know the recipient's receiver size, coupler size, required drop and rated towing requirements. Confirm these details first.
Q: How should I install and adjust the tri-ball mount?
A: Follow the manufacturer and vehicle instructions to select the ball, set the height, secure the assembly and locking shank pins, and adjust the anti-vibration mechanism. Have a qualified installer check the setup if you are unsure.
Q: Are pins and a lock included?
A: The description lists one pin for the ball assembly and one locking pin for the tubular shank. A hexagon wrench is mentioned for adjustment, but its inclusion is not confirmed in the available text.
Q: Is this a STEM kit, and can every configuration tow 17,000 lbs?
A: It is towing equipment, not a STEM kit. The original title's 17,000 lb GTW reference does not establish the rating of every ball, hook or vehicle setup. Verify the manufacturer-marked rating for the selected configuration and do not exceed the lowest applicable system rating.
