Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Who is this external inline EFI fuel pump for?
A: It is intended for experienced installers working on compatible gasoline fuel-injection systems. Universal-style fitment does not mean direct fit; check the electrical requirements, fuel compatibility, flow, pressure, fittings and mounting arrangement.
Q: Does it replace 0580464070 or fit every vehicle using that reference?
A: The listing references 0580464070 as a replacement comparison, but it is not an OEM pump and vehicle-specific fitment is not confirmed. Have an installer compare the original pump and system specifications before ordering.
Q: Is this a suitable gift for a car enthusiast?
A: It is a project-specific replacement part rather than a general-purpose gift. Buy it only when the recipient has confirmed that the pump specifications match the intended fuel-system project.
Q: How is the pump installed?
A: Installation requires fuel-system knowledge and may require adaptation. No instructions are included. Use a qualified installer to verify the correct wiring, mounting, fuel-rated connections and system pressure, and to inspect for leaks before operation.
Q: Does it include mounting hardware, hoses and wiring?
A: One option is labeled 1 set with mountings. The other is labeled For fuel injection. Do not assume both packages contain the same hardware; hoses, wiring and other installation parts are not confirmed as included.
Q: Is this a STEM kit, transfer pump or diesel pump?
A: No. It is listed as a gasoline EFI component, not an educational kit or general liquid-transfer pump. Diesel, ethanol-blend and other fuel compatibility are not established by the supplied information.
